This high-quality Darjeeling single estate tea FTGFOP1 from controlled organic cultivation comes from the ‘Orange Valley’ or ‘Phuguri’ tea estate, in the province of Darjeeling, West Bengal, North India. At around 2,000 metres above sea level, the tea plant develops a flavour that is unique in the world thanks to its slow growth, and there is a good reason, why the Darjeeling tea is called as the ‘champagne’ of teas. The personal contact with the tea plantation owner, Mr Abhishek Bagaria, enables us to import this tea directly. Without detours, from the plantation directly to our tea manufactory in Brixen/South Tyrol (Italy), where this tea is carefully packed in this special tea bag.
