The leaves of the bush plant Aspalathus linearis are used to make a herbal tea called Rooibos or redbush tea.
Rooibos is usually grown in the Cederberg, a small mountainous area of the Western Cape province of South Africa.
Rooibos tea does not contain caffeine has been popular in Southern Africa for generations.
