Earl Grey is probably the best-known flavoured black tea and is named after Sir Charles II Earl Grey, British Prime Minister from 1830 to 1834. The Earl himself was a highly educated aristocrat and became a well-known politician at young age. However, he did never register the recipe and the name of this blend and so it is free for everyone to manufacture a tea blend and declare it as Earl grey.
For this classic blend, we use high-quality black leaf tea only and refine it with the floral and fruity aroma of bergamot to create a unique and irresistible flavour that is both refreshing and soothing for the senses.
