A distinctive part of Sri Lanka&#8217;s best-known tea-growing region, which lies at an altitude of around 1.500 metres above sea level, with sufficient humidity and rainfall as well as a drop in temperature at night. This is where the well-known \u2018high grown\u2019 tea thrives, the highland tea, which is characterised by full body, intense flavour and fine texture. The liquor dark reddish amber that with the dept takes an intense ruby red towards copper colour.
