Lemon Verbena (Aloysia citrodora) is a species of flowering plant in the verbena Family Verbenaceae(Verbenaceae), native to western South America and brought to Europe only in the 18th century. Lemon verbena leaves are used to add a Lemon flavor to dishes and are also used to make a nice aromatic herbal tea with a freshly taste. Very common in France and Switzerland under the Designation Verveine.
