Darjeeling “Organic”

Kodex 0019 Kategorie Tag

This premium FTGFOP1 Darjeeling garden tea from certified organic cultivation comes from the “Orange Valley” or “Phuguri” tea gardens in the Darjeeling district of West Bengal, Northern India. At an altitude of around 2,000 metres above sea level, the tea plant grows slowly, allowing it to develop a unique aroma renowned throughout the world. This is why Darjeeling is often referred to as the “Champagne of teas”.

The personal relationship between the tea plantation owner, Mr Abhishek Bagaria, and our Tea Sommelier Paul Campestrini enables us to import this tea directly. With no intermediaries, it travels straight from the plantation to our tea manufactory in Brixen, South Tyrol, where it is carefully packed into our specially developed Premium Tea Sachets.

Ingredient from certified organic cultivation: Darjeeling black leaf tea.

Gluten-free, naturally lactose-free and suitable for a vegan diet.

Preparing a pot of tea using loose-leaf tea may seem quite simple. In fact, it is not: experience and a thorough knowledge of the product are required to determine the correct dosage. The content of each individual pack is therefore adjusted after every harvest to ensure the perfect amount for preparing approximately 450 ml (one teapot) of perfectly brewed tea.

This product is available exclusively to the premium hospitality industry and is not available in retail.
