This high-quality Darjeeling single estate tea FTGFOP1 from controlled organic cultivation comes from the ‘Orange Valley’ or ‘Phuguri’ tea estate, in the province of Darjeeling, West Bengal, North India. At around 2,000 metres above sea level, the tea plant develops a flavour that is unique in the world thanks to its slow growth, and there is a good reason, why the Darjeeling tea is called as the ‘champagne’ of teas. The personal contact with the tea plantation owner, Mr Abhishek Bagaria and our Tea Sommelier Paul Campestrini, enables us to import this tea directly. Preparing a pot of tea with loose product seems quite simple. But it is not, because you need a lot of experience and knowledge of the product to get the dosage right. The contents of this single packs are always adjusted after harvesting to make around 450 ml (one teapot) of perfectly dosed drink.
